A precise blend of function with beauty, the MANTIS Black is very similar to SCUBAPRO’s M1 in features, functions, and performance. But the MANTIS 1 BLACK offers something extra — a Black Tech PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) scratch-resistant coating presented in a stealth-like protective finish. A true delight for all the Scubapro die-hard fans.
And similar to a M1, it can be used for full timekeeping purposes. Other functions includes tracking altitude or temperature to recording your swimming time, number of swim strokes and swimming distance. So, how cool is that!
With a maximum operating depth of 394ft/120m, the M1 offers four underwater modes: Scuba, Gauge, Freediving and CCR.
It is targeted to certified air (open water and above) divers, nitrox divers, and closed circuit rebreather divers using a fixed PPO2. Has Predictive Multi Gas ZHL8 ADT MB algorithm accommodates three gases (21-100% O2), PDIS (Profile Dependent Intermediate Stops) calculates an intermediate stop based on your nitrogen load, current dive, previous dives and breathing mixes and Microbubble levels let you adjust the algorithm’s conservativeness. It also has Magnetic control buttons eliminate the need for holes, maintaining the casing’s watertight integrity and maximising mechanical reliability.
