The Catalina Gas Cylinders offers a wide range of aluminium scuba cylinders, providing divers with high performance service in waters around the globe.
Made from high strength aluminium alloy 6061-T6, it is very durable, and has great corrosion resistance. Unlike its stainless counterparts, aluminium cylinders do not rust. They oxidise. This oxidisation forms a protective coat on the tank and prevents continuation of corrosion. Thus, making aluminium cylinders less likely to be subjected to excessive corrosion. Hence, you can rest assured that an aluminium tank is more reliable and durable.
Available in the following sizes: S19, 13S, 63, 80. Available in silver and yellow colour.
