PULAU TIOMAN ISLAND (MALAYSIA)
 Lying to the far east of the
Malay Peninsula is the 5 km long island, surrounded by three other small
islands; Pulau Tioman's remote location ensures good visibility and a high
chance of encountering large Pelagics or possible even whale sharks and
manta rays. Type of diving ranges from rock boulders and submerged reefs
to wrecks.
Dive sites
: The dive sites around Pulau Tioman offers rich marine life with coral
reefs in relatively shallow waters. has steep drop-offs that provide
shelter to giant stingrays, groupers, large schools of barracudas and
sometimes whale sharks. All this makes Pulau Tioman ideal for divers of
all levels of training. Waikiki Dive Centre conducts the PADI Open Water
and Advance Diving Course weekly over at this places because of it's
diverse diving. Pulau Tioman has several islands around like Pulau Cebeh,
Pulau Sepoi, Tiger Reef, Golden Reef are a must dive for any divers
visiting Pulau Tioman.
 Dive Season
: Best period for diving is from mid March to mid-November.
Departs weekly (Friday night till Sunday night) from Singapore from March
to November
The Accommodation is basic
at the island but the room do have air-conditioning, with attached
bathrooms and is clean.
All meals are provided in
the dive package . Delicious Oriental and Western food prepared by the
local staffs throughout your whole trip. Beer and Soft Drinks are
available over the counter for a minimal fee. Supermarkets are sell a
range of tidbits and drinks as well. For those who need to have internet
access, it's available as well.
 The dive facility is built
by diver for diver! Big custom built dive boat fitted with all necessary
tank racks, platform , spacious dive deck for easy suiting up of gear and
even has a sun deck for you to relax. All boats and the resort are
equipped with oxygen bottles.
