PULAU SIPADAN-KAPALAI (SABAH MALAYSIA)
Just a few minutes away from the legendary Pulau Sipadan Island, lies a macro heaven for the muck diving enthusiasts. Whip out your macro lens and go in search of these little treasures right under Kapalai’s jetty! Spot the shy mandarin fish mating during sunset, catch the flamboyant cuttlefish feeding, tunas hunting, the list goes on.
All wooden chalets are attached with a cleverly thought-out balcony where you can enjoy a full view of the vast ocean be it day or under the starry night. From the windows of the elegant and spacious rooms, one can spend endless hours looking at the sea as if it has a life on its own just dancing to its never ending tune just a couple of feet below. Attached bathrooms are equipped with hot shower and bathtub, environmental friendly toiletries. Coffee and tea making facilities, drinking water, and 220 volts electrical points are available in the room as well.
As for dining, enjoy a sumptuous meal served in buffet style under the terraced, open central structure. A big western sundeck with sitting area allows divers to have an evening drink or an after-dive chat with a view of Kapalai’s fabulous tropical sunset. It is also the perfect place to share your underwater images and videos after dive. Others enjoy reading while immerse in the cooling sea breeze of Kapalai.
Need to get connection to your family and friends? WiFi, satellite phone, fax service, mobile coverage, are offered at the office desk.
The dive centre provides diving, snorkeling and kayaking gears and equipment for rental. For those who have yet to venture into scuba diving but would love to, come join in the fun here at Kapalai!
